My name is Shawn Cason. I was born in Des Moines, Iowa, where I spent my early years surrounded by the heartland's vibrant culture. Growing up, I developed a strong sense of community and a love for the arts, which would later influence my career path. My family moved to Wisconsin during my childhood, and I spent my formative years exploring the outdoors and immersing myself in music, which became a significant part of my identity.

In 2014, I made the decision to join the military, serving as an infantryman until 2018. This experience taught me invaluable life lessons about discipline, teamwork, and leadership. The challenges I faced during my service helped shape my character and instilled a deep sense of resilience. It was during this time that I also discovered a renewed passion for music, using it as an outlet to process my experiences and emotions.

After completing my military service, I pursued my lifelong dream of working in the music industry. I enrolled at Full Sail University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Music Production. The program provided me with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of music creation, from songwriting to the technical intricacies of sound engineering. This academic journey equipped me with the skills needed to thrive in a competitive field.

I have since gained extensive experience in songwriting, mixing and editing, mastering, and sound design. Each of these skills allows me to contribute uniquely to music projects, whether I'm collaborating with fellow artists or working independently. I take pride in my ability to create immersive audio experiences that resonate with listeners on a personal level.

Today, I continue to pursue my passion for music, constantly seeking new opportunities to grow and evolve as an artist. I believe that every song has a story to tell, and I am dedicated to bringing those stories to life through my work. As I move forward, I aim to inspire others through my music and share the lessons I’ve learned along the way.
